I took these shots as the moon was rising. One of those big orange harvest moons, it was lighting up the clouds in a dramatic way. I increased the exposure and ended up with something a little brighter than what was "real", but otherwise there's no significant post-processing going on here. On this one I left the lens flare in. I'm not sure it's so much a "lens flare" as an internal reflection of the moon's image within the lens. It looks like a faint moon - the shape is the same and you can see the dark "seas". I turned the camera north, thinking if the area lit by the moon was so cool, maybe the unlit parts would be cool too. I really like the mistiness in the streetlights in the foreground.
